Η Βαρύτητα και η χάρη Gravity and Grace

«Η χάρη πληρώνει, αλλά εισέρχεται μονάχα εκεί όπου υπάρχει κενό για να την δεχτεί, και αυτή δημιουργεί αυτό το κενό. Ν’ αγαπάς την αλήθεια σημαίνει ν’ αντέχεις το κενό, και στη συνέχεια να δεχθείς τον θάνατο… Όποιος για μια στιγμή αντέχει το κενό, ή δέχεται τον υπερούσιον άρτο ή πέφτει. Φοβερός κίνδυνος, αλλά πρέπει να το διατρέξουμε, και μάλιστα μια στιγμή χωρίς ελπίδα. Δεν πρέπει όμως να ριχτούμε πάνω του.

Grace fills empty spaces, but it can only enter where there is a void to receive it, and it is grace itself which makes this void. To love truth mean to endure the void and, as a result, to accept death… Whoever endures a moment of void either receives the supernatural bread of falls. It is a terrible risk but one that must run, even during the instant when hope fails. But we must not throw ourselves into it.»
